Have you ever read the official WCAG documents looking for answers regarding a specific problem, and found the requirements too vague? In that case, you are not alone. Fortunately, there are other resources describing the requirements, and an excellent one is WCAG in Plain English by AAArdvark.

I just discovered this site myself, thanks to a tip from my colleague Nadia, and I really liked what I saw. You can filter the requirements in a multitude of ways and easily find which ones you are looking for, even if you don’t remember the exact number or name. Each criterion is thoroughly described, with sections What is it?, Why does it matter?, Who is affected?, How to implement, Conclusion and Related Success Criteria. The implementation section contains a lot of examples, and it looks really good and useful. I’m looking forward to using this resource next time I’m unsure about something!
